Monenco Iran has recently signed a contract of “Consultancy and Detailed Engineering Services for Implementation Electricity Supply to Operational Districts and Offshore Platforms”. The client is Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC). Required demand of the operational districts of Iranian Offshore Oil Company is currently supplied by old local turbines and diesel power generators that most of them have a low efficiency. These systems cannot be able to supply current load and in worse conditions cannot be able to meet future load growth.
Since reliable electricity supply to oil fields is of great importance and disruption in that will cause heavy financial losses, the plan to study the electricity supply required by operational districts and offshore platforms of IOOC is proposed.
In these regards and according to the valuable experiences of Monenco Iran, IOOC awarded consultancy and detailed engineering services the projects to Monenco Iran.
