Monenco Iran Consulting Engineers recently signed a contract of “Consultancy Services for Reinforcement of 63/20kV Amir Kabir and Varzaneh Power Substations” with Esfahan Regional Electric Company (EREC).
Due to the constant operation of high voltage substations and their long life-time as well as the effect of environmental factors and natural disasters such as earthquakes, minor and major damages have occurred to components. Therefore seismic refurbishment of buildings for
creating the potential of service durability during earthquake is one of the issues that has been considered in the buildings. In this regard, 251, 360 and 390 magazines for seismic are used as work references.
