Monenco Iran has recently signed a contract of “Engineering Services for Connecting 63 kV Power Substations of Tehran Subway to the Electricity Network”. The client is Tehran Urban & Suburban Railway Co.
Improving public transportation system has become a vital matter due to high population of Tehran, high volume of urban trips, heavy traffics and air pollution. Therefore, expansion of subway lines in all areas of Tehran will reduce cost, travel time and environmental pollution. In this respect, expansion of subway lines and connecting the zones between Northwest and Southeast of Tehran is an undergoing project. In this project, Monenco Iran is responsible for conducting required study to connect 63 kV Power Substations of Tehran Subway to the Electricity Network.
