In 2015, Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) planned to develop existing 220/132/33kV grid station in Airport Heights, Muscat, Oman. This project is part of OETC’s target to expand and reinforce the power transmission and distribution networks in response to the loads growth and introduce new capacity into the network.
In this regard, the Consultancy Services for Design and Supervision of “New 132/33kV Ghala Height and addition of Third and Fourth Transformers at Ghala GS, Amerat GS, and Airport Heights GS Project” was awarded to Monenco. The last grid station (Airport Heights GS) was commissioned in September 2019 successfully.
