Monenco Iran has recently signed a contract of “Engineering services for dispatching system of Busheher City”. The main client is Fars Regional Electric Company.
Due to factors like high sensitivity of power outage, an electrical network geographically distributed in a wide area, extensive cable system, rapid extension and such reasons, operation of the network has become challenging and complicated. In a way that in cases of fault occurrence, not only it takes too much time for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) team to reach the substations but also they have to go through many necessary coordination. This extends the operation and maneuver duration and consequently results in longer power-outage duration. Therefore, it has been deemed as necessary to construct a modern SCADA system to assist O&M Staff.
