Monenco Iran has recently signed a contract of "Consultancy Services and Supervision for Construction of 67 High Voltage Substations". The client is Tehran Regional Electricity Company.

Electricity consumption has grown at a steady and at a higher growth rate than its GDP, owing to a reduction in real electricity prices over the years. In this regard, Sub transmission substations is one of the important stations to response to energy demand. By reduction of voltage level to 33 & 20 kV in these substations, the required electricity is provided for medium industries, agriculture and household electricity consumption. Based on the increasing demand of energy in Iran, the existing Sub transmission substations are not adequate to respond such a demand. Hence, Tehran Regional Electricity Company, on behalf of Tavanir, is responsible to procure the required equipment for these substations through financing. According to valuable experiences of Monenco Iran and due to getting the highest technical score, engineering services & supervision for construction of 67 high voltage substations has been awarded to Monenco Iran
