Award of Contract for "Consultancy & Engineering Services for Construction of Mobarakeh Steel Company's 400kV Switching AIS

 Monenco Iran has recently signed a contract of "Consultancy & Engineering Services for Construction of Mobarakeh Steel Company's 400kV Switching AIS Substation". The client is Esfahan Regional Electric Company. 

According to Mobarake Steel Company to increase the capacity of combined cycle power plant up to 400 MW and the construction of new substation, and considering Tavanir circular which has prohibited the connection of private transmission substation to ring network, Isfahan Regional Electric Company has decided to construct a 400 kV switching substation. In general, the benefits of this project are as follow:  

• Considering that the two 400 kV feeders from power plant will connect to the grid, hence two input 400 kV feeders and two output 400 kV feeders will be under control of Isfahan Regional Electric Company
• The possibility of using power plant production capacity to supply the region's required energy 
• Stability and stabilization of voltage
