Monenco Iran recently signed a contract of "Grid Connection Studies for Second Phase of Kahnuj Power Plant (Shoubad)". The client is Mah Taab Kahnuj Electricity Generation Co. (Shobaad & Kahnuj power plants project Co.).
Iran as a developing country needs for more power and electrical energy in order to meet the highly growth demand in the upcoming years. So, construction of new power plants and electrical facilities is necessary. For connection of any new power plant, a set of studies including technical and economic studies are required. Grid connection studies (power flow, short circuit and transient stability) will be performed to ensure the network has satisfactory performance in presence of new power plant.
