The South 2 combined cycle power plant project (Foulad Mubarakeh)

The South 2 combined cycle power plant project (Foulad Mubarakeh) consists of two F-class gas units with a capacity of 307 MW and a steam turbine with a capacity of 300 MW and a total of 914 MW, which is now 80% of its engineering progress in Monenco Iran. The scope of work includes engineering and civil design and facilities of all islands, commons, BOP systems and auxiliary and main cooling systems. Some of achievements of this project are the following:

- Design and engineering as the first project of the steam sector related to F-class gas turbines in Mapna Group

- The record of the fastest execution time of the combined cycle power plant in Iran, which was achieved due to the unceasing efforts of Monaco Iran Company as the engineering and other part of the project.

- The design and engineering of the first steam turbine foundation related to class F gas turbines, the implementation of which is a record in its kind with a volume of about 1600 cubic meters of continuous concreting in 11 hours.
