Monenco Iran has recently signed a contract of consulting services for the establishment of the electrical grid and dispatching in the South Pars region”
The client is South Pars Gas Company.
This project has started for 18 months from February 2023 and the aim is to conduct studies of the electricity network in order to establish a sustainable connection to the country's national electricity network and the development of the network and substation which are needed for this purpose. Due to the sensitivity of stability in gas production in South Pars region, which supplies about 70% of gas in the country, it is necessary for this economic region to have uninterrupted electricity production so that the refineries and petrochemical plants located in the region can provide the country's needs. Also, the production of electrical energy in an island state for the South Pars region in the conditions where the country's power grid is in short supply is an another goals of studies. The client is South Pars Gas Company which involve in developing the Gas extracting and refinery plants and utilities in Special Economic Region.
According to the valuable experiences and capabilities of Monenco Iran Consulting Engineers in system studies and the implementation of dispatching systems and SCADA projects, as an elite consultant by participating in the public tender, the contract has been awarded to Monenco Iran.
The project includes activities such as electricity network studies, preparation of the basic plan for the development of transmission line, Substation and the specifications of the centralized PMS system. Also consists the preparation of tender documents for Contactor’s agreement.
