The increasing global population growth and resource scarcity on the one hand, and the long-term and cumulative adverse effects of human activities on the planet on the other, have led to the need for sustainable development in today's world, providing a scientific framework for simultaneously managing limited resources, reducing environmental impacts and aspects, and increasing socio-economic dynamics, and ensuring the continued performance of infrastructure in the face of global challenges.

Its aim is to achieve harmony between environmental sustainability, economic sustainability, and socio-political sustainability.

The Sustainable Development Goals, or Global Goals, are a set of 17 interconnected global goals designed to provide a blueprint for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all. The Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a global call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

Sustainable development always encourages us to preserve and enhance our resources by gradually changing the methods of development and use of technologies. Also, paying attention to the principle of sustainable development, in addition to leading to resilience and reducing the negative consequences of human activities, will also ensure increased system productivity and reduced life cycle costs on national and international scales.
