Monenco Iran signed a contract for "Technical-Economic Conceptual Design of Electricity Supply for Facilities of Iranian Offshore Oil Company" with Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC).
Required demand of the operational districts of Iranian Offshore Oil Company currently is supplied by the old turbines and diesel power generators with a low efficiency. These facilities are not able to supply current load and in worse conditions are not able to meet the future load growth.
Since supplying reliable electricity to the oil fields is of great importance and disruption in that will cause heavy financial losses, study the electricity supply required by the operational districts and offshore platforms of IOOC has been taken into consideration.
