Monenco Iran Consulting Engineers has recently signed a contract of “Providing a Draft of ICT Governance Document for Tehran Municipality” with Tehran Urban Research & Planning Center.
One of the most important signs of the maturity of Information Technology in organizations is being equipped with modern infrastructure and technical facilities such as network, hardware, software, etc. and their optimal performances to provide appropriate services. Although modern infrastructure and technical facilities are of great importance, they will not lead to the maturity of the organization or its competitive advantage. Therefore, an important prerequisite in this process is to be aligned with the organizational missions and goals in order to be able to use the facilities properly.
In this regard, organizations need to use the models and frameworks related to IT governance in order to realize the principle of alignment for providing a suitable structure. A structure that supports the business goals with ICT investments, assures that ICT resources are being effectively used and appropriate management of ICT risks is maintained. The above-mentioned mechanisms are one of the requirements for ICT E-governance.
In this project, the ICT governance document of Tehran Municipality, including methodology and guidance, the structural system of ICT management, and processes will be delivered in order to provide and strengthen the goals and strategies of Tehran Municipality.
