Monenco Iran Signed a Contract of “Feasibility Studies for power plant site selection”

Monenco Iran Consulting Engineers recently signed a contract of “feasibility studies for power plant suitable sites selection” with Bakhtar Regional Electricity Co.

According to the outlook of country's electrical industry development plan and in order to meet the required electricity, the TPPH as the main trustee organization in charge of the country's thermal power plants intends to select a proper site for constructing a 500 MW combined cycle power plant in Lorestan/Hamedan region. Accordingly, in this project, Monenco Iran is responsible for conducting a comprehensive study of the area by using effective parameters of power plant construction.

Due to the rise in demand for electricity and lack of sufficient power plants in the region, selecting a proper site to construct a power plant with the aim of existing shortages reduction, especially during peak times will be of particular importance.
