Monenco Consulting Engineers Recently signed a contract of “Consultancy Services for Engineering, Tendering and Supervision on Smart Metering Project for Low Consumption Electricity Consumers (FAHAM Second Phase Project)” with Organization for Management of Production and Supply of Water and Electrical Goods.
Due to increasing electrical energy consumption in Iran, the second phase of FAHAM (Iran Smart Metering Project) for Low Consumption Customers will be implemented by SATKAB Company in order to optimize energy efficiency and demand response programs in distribution network. Energy efficiency and fast growth of energy consumption along with economic and environmental considerations have caused a high priority for Smart Metering projects. Therefore, more than 5 million electricity consumers will be equipped with smart meters that lead to further improvements in network observation and controllability.
