The first lot of Tehran-Shomal Freeway was opened for trial use in February 2020. The freeway which is meant to ease traffic between the Tehran and northern parts of Iran will cut the travel distance between Tehran and Chaloos by 60 kilometers (40 miles).
In this project, Monenco Iran was responsible for supervision services for electromechanical installations, and traffic smart monitoring systems as well as engineering services for lightning of some tunnels, bridges and buildings.
