Monenco Iran had the honor of addressing all of the major participants of the Bangladeshi power sector on the topic of implementation of an Independent System Operator (ISO) in Bangladesh. On Jan 13th, The final meeting of "Consulting Services for Implementation of Independent System Operator (ISO)" project was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh with the presence of the client, Power Cell and representatives from BPDB, PGCB NLDC, BREB and other related power generation and distribution companies. In this meeting, the model of Independent System Operator in Bangladesh and the implementation requirements of the project was presented by Monenco Iran.
Hopefully, this project would be a step forward in restructuring Bangladesh's electricity industry and can facilitate the future development of the industry, driven by its significant economic growth.
