Monenco Iran has recently signed a contract of “Consultancy and Supervision Services for Commissioning of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Project (FAHAM) in Boushehr Province Electrical Distribution Company”. The main client is Boushehr Province Electrical Distribution Company.

Due to high climatic conditions, electricity demand is very high in Iran and especially in southern cities of the country. Therefore, it is important to implement the FAHAM project in these areas. In the second phase of the project, Tavanir has undertaken the implementation of the FAHAM project with the management of the relevant distribution companies. Energy efficiency and coping with the growing growth of energy consumption, along with economic and environmental considerations, have made the infrastructure of smart meters more attractive. This project provides many system capabilities by installing multiple hardware and software equipment, implementing practical applications, and performing multiple functional tests. By implementing this project, consumption management strategies, especially at peak consumption intervals, productivity data collection and service to other organizations inside and outside the Ministry of Energy have become possible. Due to geographical conditions and high consumption of electricity in Bushehr Province, by implementing smart metering system, energy metering will be managed properly in addition to more precise and convenient control of the network and also, higher economic benefits and provide better quality services.
