Monenco Iran won the tender of “Consultancy Services for System Studies and Technical Assistance to Improve System Reliability and Efficiency of Bangladesh Grid”

Monenco Iran successfully won the tender of “Consultancy Services for System Studies and Technical Assistance to Improve System Reliability and Efficiency of Bangladesh Grid” which is funded by the World Bank in a close competition with the highest technical-financial score.

The contract also was signed in Dhaka in Feb 2019 between Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) and Monenco Iran.

The project will be carried out in two phases. In the first phase, the short-term and long-term needs of the Bangladesh power Network operation by focusing on improvement of power plants performance in frequency control and upgrading the SCADA/EMS system of Bangladesh National Dispatcher Center will be studied. And in the second phase, supervision of implementing the studied requirements will be carried out. The duration of the contract will be 39 months.
