Holding the fourth meeting for commissioning of Meymand 400/132 kV Substation


Considering the importance of supplying the required electrical power to the development projects before the operation also reliable during the operation as one of the most important parts of the infrastructure of the projects, National Iranian Copper Industries Company has undertaken development projects for Kerman and Sistan and Baluchistan provinces.

In this regard, "Consultancy, Design, Engineering and Supervision Services for Kerman and Sistan and Baluchistan Provinces Master Plans" was awarded to Monenco Iran.

Construction of 400/132 kV Meymand substation (Khatoon Abad) Babak City as one of the most important projects with the aim of strengthening the electricity network of north of Kerman province, supplies electricity to the development projects of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company.

In this project, the 400 kV consists of two line bay, two cross bay and two 400 kV transformer bay and two 400/132 kV power transformers with a capacity of 200 × 2 mega-volt amps and the 132 kV substation consists of nine line bay, one coupler bay and two 132 kV transformer bay.

The fourth meeting for commissioning the mentioned substation was recently held which the electrification of the substations in accordance with the standards and guidelines of the Ministry of Energy and national and international standards will soon be carried out.
