Monenco Iran recently signed a contract of "Consultancy Services for Procurement of Two 400/230 kV and Three 400/132 kV Transformers". The client is Khuzestan Regional Electric Company (KZREC).
Due to the vital role of power transformers in power systems, especially in reduction of power losses, reduction of conductor cross section and voltage regulation, preparation of technical specifications for purchasing a transformer is very important. Therefore, in view of operators, transformer purchasing process and investigation of related technical specifications sometimes need to be detached from construction of substation. According to KZREC necessity to improve the performance of its grid and purchase power transformers, consultancy services for procurement was assigned to Monenco Iran.
