Monenco Iran has recently signed a contract of "Site Supervision Services of Siyahpoush Wind Power Plant". The client is Arian Mahbad Company.
Due to the appropriate potential of wind blowing in Tarome Sofla region located in Ghazvin province (South of Sefidroud river), Arian Mahbad Company will carry out the 162.5 megawatts project of Siyahpoush Wind Power Plant in two phases. The first phase of this project is being performed by using the 3.4 megawatts permanent magnet (PMDD) with the capacity of 62.5 megawatts in Gourkhaneh region. And their installation will be end up by 2018 according to the timetable program and at the beginning of 2018 this power plant operation will be started. The second phase of this power plant is being studied with regard to its possibility with the capacity of 100 megawatts. It is worthy to mention that these types of turbines are the biggest turbines that have ever been installed in Iran. Also, Ghazvin Province has been selected for this project due to its proper weather climate in terms of setting up, installing and operating renewable power plants.
