Monenco Iran recently signed a contract of "Grid Connection Studies for Third Phase of Rudshur Power Plant". The client is Amir Kabir Electricity Generation & Development Co. (Rudshur power plant Co.).
Iran as a developing country needs for more power and electrical energy in order to meet the highly growth demand in the upcoming years. So, construction of new power plants and electrical facilities is necessary. The area covered by Tehran Regional Electricity Company is the amongst RECs which experienced high demand growth and the third phase of Rudshur power plant could supply part of this demand. For connection of any new power plant, a set of studies including technical and economic studies are required. Grid connection studies (power flow, short circuit and transient stability) will be performed to ensure the network has satisfactory performance in presence of new power plant.
