Monenco Iran recently signed a contract of "Engineering Services of High Voltage Substations Reform and Optimization". The client is KERMAN Regional Electricity Company (KREC).
Some parts of the transmission and distribution facilities, with more than 30 years, have been worn out. Therefore, those facilities are not in appropriate conditions in terms of efficiency, coordination with other networking equipment also failure to adapt with environmental conditions and proper maintenance costs. Also even in some cases the network faces difficulties. Therefore, in order to overcome with these problems, necessary instructions have been developed and implemented in the form of reform and optimization of transmission lines and substations based on three sections; replacement, reconstruction and rehabilitation and maintenance by regional electricity companies.
