Monenco Iran has recently signed a contract of “Feasibility Study of Using New Types of Conductors and Shield Wires Containing Optical Fibers (OPPC and OPGW) Instead of Existing 6-Strand Shield Wires OPGW 10.5mm and OPGW 12mm”. The client is TPA (Tejarat Pardis Azarbayjan).

The main goal of this project is to perform feasibility study of using new types of conductors and shield wires containing optical fibers (OPPC and OPGW) instead of existing 6-strand shield wires OPGW 10.5mm and OPGW 12mm. This may result in maximum use of the existing distribution and transmission infrastructures to exchange information with considering technical and economic issues. In this regard and according to the valuable experience of Monenco Iran, this project has been awarded to Monenco Iran.
